EVL is an electric vehicle charging company for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. It makes three things: the EVL app for drivers, EVL Software for charging station operators, and EVL Charger hardware from 7 kW to 800 kW. EVL is operated by Informatic Company, with offices in Sulaymaniyah, Erbil and Duhok, and the hardware is built with InnovDe GmbH.
How do I find an EV charging station near me?
Open the EVL app. The map shows charging stations with live availability, distance and price, and you can filter by connector, power and price. You can hold a charger for 15 minutes before you set off, and the same map runs on your car's screen through Apple CarPlay.
How do I pay for EV charging in Iraq?
Four ways, all into one balance: an EVL scratch card from a kiosk, the in-app balance, a Visa or Mastercard online with 3-D Secure, or cash to the attendant at the station. No option carries a fee, top-ups start at 5,000 IQD, and refunds go back to your balance the same day.
Which electric car chargers does EVL sell?
Eleven families of AC and DC EV chargers: wall boxes from 7 kW to 42 kW for homes, hotels and offices, DC fast chargers from 20 kW to 320 kW, an 800 kW split cabinet that feeds up to ten dispensers, and a 65 kWh mobile charger. They are specified for −30 °C to 55 °C, voltage swings and dust.
Which connectors and cars does EVL support?
CCS2, Type 2, GB/T and CHAdeMO, which covers the electric cars driven in Iraq, from Tesla, Hyundai and Kia to BMW, MG and Xiaomi. Every DC unit has two cables, and the app knows the connector, charging curve and range for each make.
Can I connect chargers from other brands to EVL Software?
Yes. EVL Software speaks OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1, so chargers you already installed from another supplier join the same map and the same billing. You set tariffs per site and connector, see revenue and margin for every charge point, and get remote diagnostics.
Is the EVL app available in Kurdish and Arabic?
Yes. The EVL app runs on iOS 15 and Android 9 or newer, in English, Kurdish and Arabic. Driver support answers 24/7 in all three languages.
How do I open a charging station at my business?
Tell EVL the site, the power supply and how many bays you want. EVL surveys the site, installs EVL chargers or connects the ones you have, and you set the tariff and opening hours. Drivers then find you on the map, and revenue shows in the dashboard live. Call 00964 773 034 5909 or email EVL@informatic.company.

Products
Three products, one platform.
The software runs the network. The hardware sits in the bay. The app is what the driver holds. They are sold separately and they are built to work together.
Nothing here is a bundle you have to take whole. The software runs on hardware you already own; the hardware works on its own screen without an app; the app works on any unit on the network.
1
Start with the software
Connect the chargers you have over OCPP. Set a tariff, open the site, and start billing — no new hardware required.
2
Add hardware where you need it
A 7 kW wall box for a hotel bay or an 800 kW cabinet for a forecourt. Every unit speaks the same protocol as the software.
3
Put drivers on the app
Your sites appear on the map with your prices. Drivers reserve, charge and pay without ever calling you.

About EVL
Charging, made local.
EVL is operated by Informatic Company and built with InnovDe. Everything is specified for how Iraq and the Kurdistan Region actually run.

Where this starts
Electric cars arrived here before the charging did. Drivers bought them and then discovered the map was empty, the prices were guesswork, and half the units they found were dead.
EVL exists to fix the boring parts: software that tells you the truth about availability, hardware that survives the summer, and four ways to pay so nobody is locked out for want of a bank card.
As the industry moves to electric vehicles, the demand for reliable charging is at an all-time high. By combining Informatic's software work with InnovDe's hardware, we build charging that is specified for the Iraq and Kurdistan markets rather than adapted to them.
Who builds it
Two companies, one product.
Informatic Company
Operates the EVL platform: the management software, the mobile app, the payment layer and the network itself. Customised software development and IT services, with offices in Sulaymaniyah, Erbil and Duhok.
A German company with its roots in Germany and assembly in China. EVC, its charging brand, supplies every EVL Charger — from the 7 kW wall box to the 800 kW split cabinet.
We see this as a pivotal step towards electric vehicles in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Advanced chargers and the app that goes with them make charging reachable — and the point is not that the technology is new, but that it is dependable.
